Location: India – New Delhi or Mumbai (Home Office)

🔎 About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join RIU Hotels & Resorts as a Business Development Manager for the Indian market. You will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities while fostering strong relationships with customers, agencies, and tour operators. Your expertise in sales and market strategies will contribute to strengthening RIU’s presence in India and promoting our brand across diverse channels.
💼 What You’ll Do
- Identify new business opportunities and secure customers in India.
- Serve as the primary liaison for new and existing customers in the Indian market.
- Organize and lead all sales calls and visits to promote the RIU brand with agencies and tour operators.
- Identify and develop B2B sales opportunities, attend exhibitions, and network with clients.
- Propose and organize marketing activities and roadshows within India in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Plan and execute promotional events, such as training workshops for travel agents and FAM trips to showcase RIU products.
- Maintain accurate records of meetings and activities in internal systems and report regularly to the Director of Business Development Asia.
✔️ What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
- Fluent in English and Hindi; knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
- Confident presenter, capable of delivering impactful presentations to groups.
- Availability to travel within India at least twice per month.
- Flexible and adaptable to varying schedules and demands.
