🔎 About the Role
As a Front Office Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless guest experiences from check-in to check-out. You will supervise daily front office operations, inspire your team to deliver exceptional service, and embody RIU’s commitment to creating memorable stays for every guest.
💼 What You’ll Do
- Oversee Daily Operations: Supervise all aspects of front office activities, including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries, ensuring efficient and smooth service delivery.
- Deliver Unparalleled Guest Service: Lead by example in providing warm, professional, and personalized service to guests, promptly addressing concerns and resolving issues to exceed expectations.
- Motivate and Support the Team: Train, mentor, and motivate front office staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and excellence.
- Monitor and Improve Performance: Conduct regular team briefings, evaluate staff performance, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Coordinate with Departments: Act as a liaison between the front office and other hotel departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration to meet guest needs.
- Ensure Compliance with Policies: Uphold RIU’s operational standards, guest service protocols, and safety policies, ensuring compliance by all front office staff.
- Handle Guest Feedback and Complaints: Proactively manage feedback, resolving issues promptly and escalating when necessary, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain Records and Reports: Oversee daily reports, manage room inventory, and monitor occupancy levels to optimize operations and revenue.
✔️ What We’re Looking For
- Professional Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role within a front office team, preferably in a five-star hotel or luxury resort.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management, fostering positive relationships.
- Strong Leadership Abilities: A confident and motivating leader who can inspire the team to deliver outstanding service consistently.
- Problem-Solving Expertise: Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to handle guest concerns and operational challenges with poise and efficiency.
- Organizational Excellence: Attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service.
- Knowledge of Systems: Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and front office operations.
- Flexibility and Resilience: Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and French is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a significant advantage for serving an international clientele.
