🔎 About the Role
We are seeking passionate and skilled culinary professionals to join our team as Demi Chef de Partie. Selected candidates will undergo a two-month intensive training program at RIU Sri Lanka, followed by a permanent placement in Mauritius. This is an excellent opportunity for chefs with ambition, creativity, and a commitment to culinary excellence.
💼 What You’ll Do
Support Section Leadership: Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of excellence.
Prepare Culinary Masterpieces: Execute dishes with exceptional quality, creativity, and presentation, ensuring they meet the standards of a five-star environment.
Collaborate on Menu Development: Work closely with the kitchen team to enhance menu offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
Mentor Junior Staff: Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen team members, fostering their growth and ensuring consistent output.
Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to meet established quality and plating guidelines.
Inventory and Stock Control: Assist in monitoring and maintaining stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring timely requisitions for ingredients.
Uphold Hygiene and Safety: Follow and enforce strict food safety and hygiene regulations in all aspects of the kitchen.

Culinary Expertise: Proven experience in a similar role within a five-star hotel or luxury resort, showcasing exceptional culinary skills and creativity.
