We are looking for a passionate Junior Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at RIU Hotels & Resorts in the Maldives. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are ready to step into a leadership role and contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Junior Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a vital part in maintaining our high standards of service, leading a dynamic team, and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

💼 What You’ll Do:

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring the team delivers an exceptional guest experience.

• Lead and inspire restaurant staff, assisting with training, motivation, and performance management.

• Maintain the highest standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness.

• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

• Ensure smooth operations during meal periods, including reservations, seating arrangements, and guest service.

• Support the Restaurant Manager in the implementation of new procedures and menu changes.

• Assist with stock control, inventory, and ordering to ensure restaurant requirements are met.

• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment by encouraging teamwork and high morale.

✔️ What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in a supervisory role.

• A passion for hospitality and delivering top-notch service.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

• Knowledge of food and beverage service, as well as health and safety standards.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

• A guest-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
