🔎 About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate Junior Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at RIU Hotels & Resorts in the Maldives. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are ready to step into a leadership role and contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Junior Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a vital part in maintaining our high standards of service, leading a dynamic team, and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.
💼 What You’ll Do:
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring the team delivers an exceptional guest experience.
Lead and inspire restaurant staff, assisting with training, motivation, and performance management.
Maintain the highest standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Ensure smooth operations during meal periods, including reservations, seating arrangements, and guest service.
Support the Restaurant Manager in the implementation of new procedures and menu changes.
Assist with stock control, inventory, and ordering to ensure restaurant requirements are met.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment by encouraging teamwork and high morale.
✔️ What We’re Looking For:
At least 2 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in a supervisory role.
A passion for hospitality and delivering top-notch service.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Knowledge of food and beverage service, as well as health and safety standards.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
A guest-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
