🔎 About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician (Painter) to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and quality of our hotel interiors and exteriors through painting and surface finishing. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for high standards, we’d love to hear from you!

💼 What You’ll Do

• Perform painting, varnishing, and surface preparation for various areas of the property, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Ensure all painted surfaces meet RIU’s standards for quality, safety, and appearance.
• Conduct regular inspections and carry out touch-ups or full repaints as necessary.
• Assist with minor repairs and surface treatments before painting.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize disruption and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Maintain painting tools, materials, and equipment in good condition.
• Comply with safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  

✔️ What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a painter or technician in a hospitality, commercial, or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to assist with other carpentry and handyman related tasks.
• Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
