🔎 About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Hotels & Resorts as a Technician (Welding & Fabrication). In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the resort’s structural and functional integrity through expert welding and fabrication work. Your skills will support the upkeep and enhancement of resort infrastructure, contributing to guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

💼 What You’ll Do

• Perform welding, cutting, and metal fabrication tasks on metal structures, fixtures, and resort equipment.
• Design, fabricate, and repair metal components using a variety of techniques including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on metal structures and frames.
• Support in the maintenance of custom-built equipment, safety railings, gates, and resort infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards during welding and fabrication operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide timely and effective technical support.
• Maintain proper records of work completed, materials used, and inspections performed.

✔️ What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Welding & Fabrication Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication tools.
• Attention to detail and precision in metalwork and structural tasks.
• Proactive, safety-conscious mindset and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
• Good communication skills for interdepartmental coordination.
• Familiarity with occupational health and safety protocols related to welding.
