Assistant Front Office Manager Role – Hospitality Leadership & Guest Service Excellence
About the Opportunity
Join us as an Assistant Front Office Manager and play a key part in delivering RIU’s signature hospitality. In this exciting position, you will oversee daily front office operations, coordinate a motivated team, and elevate guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities – Front Office Operations & Guest Relations
- Support the Front Office Manager in the seamless operation of the reception, concierge, and guest services areas.
- Lead and motivate the front office team to deliver efficient, courteous, and personalized service to every guest.
- Ensure accurate guest check-in, check-out, room allocation, and billing processes.
- Resolve guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a prompt, thoughtful, and solution-focused manner.
- Maintain updated knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and coaching to ensure optimal performance and development.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and service standards.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to facilitate outstanding guest stays.
- Handle administrative duties including reporting, inventory, and supply management for the front office.
What We’re Looking For – Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Experience in a front office or guest services supervisory role within hospitality (resort or hotel experience preferred).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and MS Office suite.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Passion for hospitality, professionalism, and a guest-centric approach at all times.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field is an advantage.
