Position: Entertainment Trainee (6-month internship programme)

🔎 About the Internship

This 6-month internship is designed for passionate, outgoing individuals eager to explore a career in entertainment. As an Entertainment Trainee, you will learn, grow and gain hands-on experience in guest entertainment in a dynamic international setting. You'll assist in organizing activities, performances, and events, creating memorable experiences that align with RIU’s high standards of hospitality and fun.

💼 What You’ll Learn & Do

• Assist in planning, organizing, and carrying out entertainment activities including sports, games, and evening shows.
• Taking part in rehearsals and support live performances and themed shows.
• Deliver engaging performances, from themed shows to live entertainment.
• Interact with guests, encouraging participation and ensuring everyone feels welcome.
• Maintain a positive and lively atmosphere throughout the day and night.
• Uphold RIU’s safety standards during all activities and performances.
• Adapt to different roles and scenarios to meet the needs of our diverse guest demographic.
  
• Observe and learn how entertainment programmes are developed and delivered in a professional setting.

✔️ What We’re Looking For

• Energetic, friendly individuals with a passion for guest interaction and entertainment.
• Some background in performance arts, dance, music, or sports. Public speaking is a definite plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with guests of all ages and backgrounds.
• Enthusiastic, creative, and able to perform under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.
