As a Room Attendant at RIU Hotels & Resorts in Sri Lanka, you will play a vital role in ensuring each guest enjoys a spotless, comfortable, and welcoming stay. You will work within the housekeeping team, upholding our commitment to exceptional hospitality and brand standards.
💼 What You’ll Do
- Clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas in line with company standards for cleanliness and presentation.
- Replenish guest amenities, linens, and supplies to provide maximum comfort and satisfaction.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns observed during cleaning rounds.
- Handle guests’ requests and respond to their needs efficiently, demonstrating a friendly and professional attitude.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times to ensure a safe environment for guests and team members.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve department targets and deliver an outstanding guest experience.
- Maintain a positive and respectful work environment, embracing our values of diversity and inclusion.
✔️ What We’re Looking For
- More than 1 year previous experience in housekeeping or a similar guest service role is required.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a sense of responsibility.
- Good communication skills and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
- An elementary level of English is sufficient.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse team.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required during your shift.
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet guest needs.
