🔎 About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Staff Service Supervisor to oversee and maintain the highest standards across our staff accommodation and facilities at RIU Atoll & RIU Palace Maldives. This position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and upkeep of all staff living and recreational areas — covering 181 staff rooms across four accommodation quarters — as well as various staff facilities.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a sharp eye for detail. You will be responsible for supervising housekeeping operations in staff areas, managing linen and HR assets, addressing maintenance and welfare concerns, and ensuring that our staff accommodation reflects the same standards of quality and care we deliver to our guests.
💼 What You’ll Do
- Take good care of HR assets, including staff accommodation, equipment, furniture, and communal facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained, organized, and in excellent condition.
- Supervise daily operations in staff accommodation, including room cleanliness by the Staff Service Attendants, and maintenance of all living and public areas.
- Maintain linen and inventory control and updating of records, ensuring proper stock levels and timely replacements.
- Handle complaints and resolve staff accommodation issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for repair, improvement, and upkeep.
- Coordinate with the assigned Maintenance team members timely follow-up on repair and maintenance requests.
- Maintain records and reports related to accommodation operations, inventory, and maintenance activities.
- Support staff welfare initiatives and encourage participation in staff engagement programs and events.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and promote a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.
- Operate tricycle when needed and assist with logistical needs.
- Assist in the smooth operation of HR and other staff facilities and contribute to maintaining a positive staff living experience.
✔️ What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in staff accommodation or facilities supervision, preferably in a resort or hospitality environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of housekeeping practices and linen management.
- Excellent problem-solving and complaint-handling skills.
- Proactive and hands-on approach with strong follow-up abilities on maintenance and operational matters.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office applications).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards and continuous improvement in staff facilities.
- Handle matters with maturity and highest levels of confidentiality.
