We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at RIU Hotels & Resorts in the Maldives. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated hospitality professional ready to take on a leadership role and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will ensure smooth restaurant operations, maintain service excellence, and support your team in creating memorable moments for our guests.
💼 What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise restaurant staff, contributing to training, motivation, and performance development.
- Uphold high service standards, ensuring top-quality food presentation and cleanliness.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care.
- Manage seating plans, reservations, and service flow during meal periods.
- Support the Restaurant Manager with new procedures, service enhancements, and menu updates.
- Assist in managing stock control, inventory, and requisitions to meet operational needs.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes teamwork and high morale.
✔️ What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
- Good knowledge of food & beverage service practices and safety standards.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, able to perform well under pressure.
- A guest-focused mindset with proactive problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
