🔎 About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join RIU Hotels & Resorts as a Technician (Kitchen & Laundry). In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of all kitchen and laundry equipment. Your technical skills will contribute to smooth resort operations, adherence to safety and hygiene standards, and an excellent guest experience.

💼 What You’ll Do

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on kitchen and laundry equipment, including ovens, steamers, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults efficiently to minimize downtime.

• Ensure all kitchen and laundry equipment operates safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations.

• Assist in implementing preventive maintenance schedules to improve equipment reliability and lifespan.

• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new kitchen and laundry equipment when required.

• Monitor spare parts usage and report maintenance-related requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and service reports.
  

✔️ What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Technician (Kitchen & Laundry) in a hotel or resort environment.

• Sound technical knowledge of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.

• Experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety compliance.

• Ability to handle breakdowns efficiently and work under operational pressure.

• Basic experience in coordinating with external service providers.

• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and proactive approach to work.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Knowledge of occupational health, safety, and hygiene standards related to kitchen and laundry operations.
