🔎 About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Hotels & Resorts as a Technician, where you will play a key role in delivering the signature service and operational excellence that define RIU Sri Lanka.

In this role, you’ll thrive in a serene yet vibrant coastal setting, being part of a pioneering hotel that introduced the 24-Hour All-Inclusive concept to Asia.

💼 What You’ll Do

• Ensure all hotel facilities, guest rooms, and public areas are maintained to the highest standards, supporting the quality experience expected at RIU Sri Lanka.

• Perform daily inspections and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.

• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and colleagues, minimizing inconvenience and ensuring satisfaction.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair faults efficiently, escalating complex issues when required.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in good condition, ensuring readiness and proper inventory control.

• Proactively report and address safety hazards, damages, or potential risks to maintain a safe environment.

• Strictly follow health, safety, and environmental procedures in line with hotel and regulatory standards.

• Work closely with housekeeping, front office, and other departments to support seamless hotel operations and enhance the guest experience.

• Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and team-oriented workplace that reflects RIU’s values and service culture. 

✔️ What We’re Looking For

• More than 01 years’ experience in similar capacity in a Star Class hotel

• Hands on experience in Kitchen & Laundry equipment, A/C and Electrical work

• Professional Qualification in NVQ level 4 in Electrical or HVAC

• An elementary level of English is sufficient.

• remarkable customer orientation

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse team.

• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required during your shift.

• Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet guest needs.
