🔎 About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Hotels & Resorts as a Technician (Electrical). In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the resort’s electrical systems and equipment. Your technical expertise will support the smooth functioning of the property, helping deliver uninterrupted comfort and exceptional experiences for our guests and team members.
🌟 What You’ll Do
Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and installations across the resort.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults related to lighting, power distribution systems, control panels, motors, and other electrical equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
Monitor and maintain generators, electrical panels, and backup power systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues raised by departments and guests.
Ensure all electrical work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Assist in the installation and upgrading of electrical systems and equipment when required.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and completed repairs.
✔️ What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, generators, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
Good understanding of workplace safety standards and electrical safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Good communication and coordination skills across departments.
Relevant technical certification or vocational training in Electrical Engineering or a related field is an advantage.
