🔎 About the Role

As a Trainee – Room Attendant, you will be part of our Housekeeping team and receive hands-on training in professional hotel housekeeping operations.

You will learn how to prepare and maintain guest rooms according to RIU standards while contributing to a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are motivated, detail-oriented, and interested in starting a career in the hospitality industry.

🌟 What You’ll Do

• Assist in cleaning, preparing, and maintaining guest rooms according to hotel standards.

• Learn proper bed-making, linen changing, bathroom cleaning, and guest amenity replenishment procedures.

• Ensure guest rooms, corridors, and assigned areas are maintained in a clean, hygienic, and presentable condition.

• Handle housekeeping equipment, linen, guest supplies, and cleaning materials responsibly.

• Report maintenance issues, damages, lost-and-found items, or other concerns to the supervisor.

• Follow hygiene, health and safety, and housekeeping procedures at all times.

• Participate in practical training and development activities to build professional housekeeping skills.

• Support the Housekeeping team with daily operational requirements as assigned.

✔️ What We’re Looking For

• No prior hotel experience required; hands-on training will be provided.

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good work ethic.

• Basic communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Good time-management skills and ability to follow instructions.

• High school diploma or equivalent secondary education preferred.

• Basic English communication skills will be an advantage.
