🔎 About the Role

As an Assistant Entertainer, you will support the Entertainment team in creating fun, engaging, and memorable experiences for guests of all ages.

You will assist with daily activities, sports, games, shows, and special events while helping maintain a friendly, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere throughout the resort. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are outgoing, creative, enthusiastic, service-oriented, and interested in building a career in hospitality and resort entertainment.

🌟 What You’ll Do

• Assist the Entertainment team with organizing and conducting daily recreational activities, games, sports, and guest programs.

• Welcome guests and encourage participation in activities in a friendly, professional, and inclusive manner.

• Support children’s, family, and adult entertainment activities according to resort schedules and program requirements.

• Assist with evening entertainment, live shows, music, dancing, theme nights, and special events.

• Help prepare, arrange, and safely store entertainment equipment, props, costumes, and activity materials.

• Provide clear instructions and demonstrate activities while ensuring guests understand applicable rules and safety procedures.

• Interact with guests, answer basic questions, and provide information about entertainment programs and resort activities.

• Support rehearsals, performances, presentations, and other entertainment productions as assigned.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in activity and entertainment areas.

• Follow RIU service standards, grooming standards, health and safety procedures, and entertainment guidelines at all times.

• Work closely with other departments to coordinate activities and contribute to a smooth guest experience.

✔️ What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in entertainment, recreation, hospitality, childcare, sports, performing arts, or customer service is an advantage but not required.

• Outgoing, energetic, creative, and guest-focused personality.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good command of spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

• Confidence speaking and interacting with guests in a multicultural environment.

• Ability to participate in physical activities, games, dancing, performances, and outdoor programs as required.

• Positive attitude, teamwork, reliability, and willingness to learn.

• Basic organizational skills and the ability to follow activity schedules and instructions.

• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, public holidays, and special events.
